[Cialug] Re: xntpd

Sorry for the extra noise. I should have mentioned that I am starting xntpd
when I reach runlevel 2 during the boot process.

Subject: [Cialug] xntpd

I got xntpd setup and syncing with a stratum 2 server, but now I want this
box (SuSE 6.4) to act as a time server for my internal network.

I scanned this box from another and the proper port is not open (IIRC, it
should be port 123 or 37).

When I tried to connect to it with an NTP client from another machine, it
(the client) just times out.

Did I miss something in the config file? It currently looks like this:

server x.x.x.x
server x.x.x.x
server x.x.x.x

broadcastclient

Thanks!
