recently...

The site runs on a load balanced cluster of Linux boxes using
Apache and is backed by two databases running IBM's DB2 EEE
each running on a cluster of Linux boxes.
The code is almost entirely written in Perl and the web front
end part is written using EmbPerl and Perl-DBI.
