| [Cialug] Re: Playing with SSH ports |
Anti-virus would do nothing to prevent a naive user from downloading an .exe and intentionally running it, which is the case here. All our boxen have McAfee Virus Shield, and we've all signed an agreement that says we will not disable virus software on our machines. The irony is I can _still_ download .exe's from many other websites. Which I would argue is a necessity anywyas. But their actions don't prevent me from downloading a bad .exe and runing it. -Dan -----Original Message----- From: Jon.Clemons@e-markets.com [mailto:Jon.Clemons@e-markets.com] Subject: [Cialug] Re: Playing with SSH ports Sounds like something an Enterprise Anti-Virus solution would solve. -------------------------------------------------- To un-subscribe to this list use the link below: mailto:listar@cialug.org?subject=unsubscribe%20lug
