Slackware hasn't booted soley on floppy for a long time. However, each
distribution of Slackware comes with a series of floppy images which is
enough get networking going; after that you can install the rest of the
distro off CD.

Having said that, could you plug a cdrom drive in, at least temporarily,
just to load the OS? You wouldn't have to have space in the case.
