These included but were not limited to user creation, menu and group entry, system upgrade patches, midnight maintenance, release loads, and archive backup assistance in preparation for impending “go-live” roll-out.


· Wrote a series of *Korn shell scripts* designed to assist in monitoring daily operations procedures. These included a disk space checker, Backup monitor, performance analyzer, and system status reporter. The scripts also incorporated complex sed, awk, and perl routines.

· Wrote *Word 97* macros in *Visual Basic* to run terminal emulator scripts to automate releases, user operations, and system auditing.

· Supervised and supported team of 15 on-site Information Managers, LAN administrators, and help desk support staff to troubleshoot *Affinity* problems.

· Used *smit* utilities to monitor and enable printer queues.

· Coded *Novell* utility to capture local screen output and redirect it to network printer.
