You're probably running ICS (Internet Connection Sharing) on the Win2k box.

I setup a file/print server with W2K Server and for some reason it is
screwing up DHCP for my other machines running Linux, OS X and XP. Only
after shutting down W2K Server and doing an IP renew can I access the
internet through my router.
